Busan Korea’s willingness to hold World Expo 2030!
It’s been a long time coming—the last time Korea hosted an expo was in 1986. They’ve been planning our bid for several years now and are excited to get back in the game.

It’s no secret that Korea has been working on improving its image abroad in recent years. They want to use this opportunity to show off our country and its culture. Of course, there are many other reasons why you should visit Busan when it hosts the World Expo in 2030: it’s conveniently located close to Seoul (just an hour away by train), has excellent transportation infrastructure, and even has its own airport!

Busan is a beautiful city, and we have so much to offer!
Busan is Korea’s largest port and have a rich history. It’s also home of many famous people, including musicians and actors. We also enjoy plenty of beautiful scenery—from beaches to mountains.

Busan is an excellent choice for hosting the World EXPO 2030.
The City of Busan is eager to host World EXPO 2030 on the basis of “3Ws” : well-developed; well-placed;and well-experienced.
1. Well-developed
Busan has played a crucial role in Korea’s path from being a recipient of economic as well as the main centre of Korea’s future industries, Busan Eco Delta Smart City which is now a logistics hub of Northeast Asia.

Busan offers easy access to well-equipped infrastructure like railways and airports. That’s why it captivates natural environment emanating from the harmony among the sea – including the seven beaches in Busan -, rivers and mountains.

3. Well-experienced
Busan thas outstanding expertise in hosting international exhibitions since it’s the 5th and 13th largest MICE city in Asia That’s why they have a heartfelt aspiration to host the World EXPO 2030. In fact, Busan has indeed a powerful potential for the realization of the ideals of the Bureau International des Expositions.
