Witness how ENHYPEN provided solace and joy during my challenging times. This post delves into the comfort and inspiration their music has brought into my life.
Seeing Kpop group ENHYPEN for the 5th time, I found myself filled with the same excitement and anticipation as the first time I saw them in person. My love for this group was sparked by my little sister, who introduced me to their music and charisma. This connection to ENHYPEN holds a special place in my heart, intertwined with precious memories of my late father.
My first encounter with ENHYPEN was in December 2022. It was a press conference, and I found myself surrounded by media professionals from a big company, while mine was still a startup. At that time, my siblings and I were grappling with the recent loss of my dad, who passed away just a day before my birthday. The grief was overwhelming, making it incredibly difficult to step outside of my comfort zone and engage with the world.

Despite this, I knew I needed a distraction to navigate through the sorrow. ENHYPEN became that beacon of light. Their music and presence provided a temporary escape, allowing me and my sister to find moments of joy amidst the darkness. The experience was a reminder that even in the toughest times, there’s still room for happiness and connection.
Reflecting on that emotional journey, I can’t help but feel grateful for the growth I’ve witnessed—not only in ENHYPEN’s success but also in my own personal development. Seeing the group achieve their success brings me immense happiness, and I hope that one day, my siblings and I can also make our dad proud from wherever he watches over us.
As the eldest sibling, adjusting to life without our father has been heavy. The weight of responsibility and the anxiety of keeping it all together often feel overwhelming. I don’t always vocalize my thoughts, choosing instead to focus on staying positive and keeping myself busy. I constantly remind myself to pray and never give up on life. ENHYPEN’s music has been a constant source of comfort and motivation, reminding me to persevere and find joy in the little things.

I hope that, in time, my siblings and I can make my dad proud and show him from wherever he is that we’re doing okay. His early departure left a void that can never be filled, but I hold onto the hope that he’s watching over us, feeling proud of our efforts and progress.
As I continue to follow ENHYPEN and witness their success, I’m reminded that life, despite its challenges, is full of moments that can bring light and hope. This journey has been as much about discovering and supporting them as it has been about understanding and supporting myself.
Here’s to more fan meetings, more growth, and more moments of joy. And to anyone going through a tough time, remember that even amidst the darkest days, there’s always a glimmer of light waiting to guide you through.
