The Donghae Mureung Health Forest is a location where fresh air, the sound of water, and birds all work together to refresh the mind and body. It’s situated in the scenic Mureungyegok Valley and was established to promote natural wellness and illness prevention.
The city of Donghae runs the Donghae Mureung Health Forest and works to provide affordable lodging and healing programs. The eco-friendly healing lodging building has 38 rooms (double room: 30 rooms; eight-person room: 6 rooms; eight-person group: 2 rooms).
Aside from programs like heat therapy and Cha Hun meditation that help boost immunity, the theme experience center also offers stress relief programs to help relieve everyday stress. The lodging facility is about healing and wellness, and it is highly affordable. It is constructed of environmentally friendly materials such as red clay, white sericite minerals, and cypress. Participants in the program are served healthy meals made with organic ingredients.
Inside are several rooms, including the Red Clay Sauna, Salt Cave, Oxygen Healing, White Gyeonmite Sauna, a changing room, and a shower facility (male and female). Massage chairs, pelvic exercise devices, and a kid’s playroom are available in the Oxygen Healing Room. Thermotherapy prevents and rejuvenates stress-related diseases.
